The project sought to establish a concise reference document and design resource to guide the delivery of high-quality architectural, public realm and street design outcomes for Queensland. QDesign was launched publicly by The Hon. Mick De Brenni MP in December 2018.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>(Social) Housing Design Guidelines, QLD Cathryn has been engaged by the State Government Department of Housing Partnerships to work collaboratively with the department team, the Queensland Government Architect’s team and Surroundings Architects to develop housing design guidelines for the State. In her role, Cathryn provides: Strategic project direction - Guidelines’ drafting and development - Support to the team - Facilitation of working sessions. The project is drawing on lessons learnt from ten demonstration projects (currently under development) and aims to establish a new design framework and supporting resources to guide better social and private housing outcomes across Queensland</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Australian National University Acton Campus Master Plan, Canberra, ACT  Cathryn was appointed as Design Manager for the Arup team — commissioned by the Australian National University to deliver a master plan to guide the future evolution of its 145 Ha Acton Campus. Alongside Urban Enquiry, the team combined the diverse skills and experience of Arup, Lovell Chen, John Wardle Architects, Turnberry Consulting, Karen Wright Projects and Mantra Studios. Together, the team delivered a comprehensive master plan incorporating energy and heritage strategies for the university.</image:caption>

The project seeks to establish a clear and concise overarching design vision for the Sunshine Coast region. This vision will help shape the region’s architecture, public realm, infrastructure and private developments..</image:caption>
